This week, the Asbury Park Press published a deep-dive report looking at just how much of a burden our state's highest-in-the-nation property taxes places on hardworking New Jerseyans.
"Even if you made New Jersey's median household income of $72,093, the average residential property tax bill for 2016 would have cost you nearly 12 percent of your income. For actual homeowners, the percent of income going toward property taxes hovers around 8.5 percent."
It’s not a surprise that families are being squeezed by high property taxes. In fact, making New Jersey more affordable for families through property tax relief is the top issue for our campaign.

That’s why I’ve proposed the Circuit Breaker plan to ease the tax burden on working-class families tying property taxes to household income.

Yet, even in the face of these facts, out-of-touch Wall Street millionaire Phil Murphy has pledged to raise taxes on hard working New Jerseyans.

Phil Murphy is already attacking our campaign because he’s worried our message is resonating with voters. Click here to donate $25 right now, and with your help, we will share our plan for a better New Jersey with home owners and voters all across our state.

I am honored to have your support in this endeavor.

For New Jersey,
Kim
